Equipment utilized in the unit/department:
• Ventilators
• Arterial lines
• Non-invasive ventilation
• Hi Flo
• Airvo
Required skills, minimum years of experience, and/or education:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• 1 year of recent PCU experience
• 1 year of recent Med Surg experience
• Must be willing to float to PCU and Med Surg
Required licensures, certificates/registrations, and/or life support certifications:
• State of Nebraska (or multistate) RN license
• BLS - AHA/ARC
• ACLS - AHA/ARC
• PALS - AHA
Shift or schedule requirements: • /
• Candidate will be 1 of 2 ICU RNs on shift.
Floating to other units/departments:
• Med Surg
• PCU
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/department:
• This is a 32-bed acute care facility.
• We utilize up to 6 beds as ICU.
• When ICU census is down, you will be expected to take MS/PCU level patients.
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit (nursing only):
• 1:2 ICU
• 1:4 PCU
• 1:5 MS
Dress Code:
• Pewter Grey or Light Turquois
