Foster Care Recruiter – TFI Nebraska is a private not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides experience, compassion, quality services and care for the children and families. We hold Foster Care Recruitment Contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) throughout most of the State of Oklahoma. As a partner with DHS, we help support families throughout the foster care approval process, during placement and care of children in their homes, and help provide an understanding of the child welfare system.
Average hourly rate is $18.21 (including wage, incentives, bonuses, overtime, shift differential, etc.).
PositionFoster Care Recruiter
ResponsibilitiesAs a Foster Care Recruiter, you will be directly responsible for the initial phase of the Agency’s recruitment process for foster care families. Work in concert with department staff to develop staff to develop effective recruitment strategies and initiatives and be an integral player in execution. Some duties include:
- Develops and distributes recruitment packages to individuals interested in becoming foster care families with the Agency.
- Assists in foster care family recruitment and retention efforts to include advertising, arranging meetings, mailings, and miscellaneous actions.
- Represents the Agency at meetings pertaining to foster care provider activities and recruitment initiatives.
- Assists in developing, coordinating, and producing newsletters, fliers, advertisements, brochures, and other information materials.
Bachelor’s degree preferred. High School diploma/G.E.D. required with at least one year of experience in general office duties. As a Foster Care Recruiter
