Grand Island Physical Therapy has immediate opening for Physical Therapy Assistant to support our clinics in the Grand Island area. This position will offer full time hours and may have the opportunity to work in several of our clinics which serve various populations in our community. Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current or eligible PTA license in Nebraska
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork
- Ability to follow and adapt treatment plans safely and effectively
- Deliver high-quality, hands-on therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with preparation, mobility, and use of braces or supportive devices
- Implement individualized treatment plans and track progress
- Measure range of motion and record patient outcomes
- Support patients in performing exercises and maintaining motivation
- Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery goals
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of treatment areas and equipment
- Document all treatments accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Uphold patient confidentiality and professional standards
- Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and grow professionally
- Provide consistent, dependable patient care during scheduled hours
- Compassionate, patient-focused care
- Strong manual therapy and exercise-based skills
- Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities
