Exterior Services Technician - DOT Operator (Landscape Operator)

Compensation: $19.00 - $35.00/hr*

As an Exterior Services Technician - DOT Operator at Walmart
, you will oversee landscape projects and collaborate with a dedicated team to maintain grounds year-round. Duties include mowing, trimming, and pruning to keep the exterior environment pristine. You will help ensure exterior services meet high standards and support a welcoming customer experience.

Work alongside associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance, while adhering to safety, security, and integrity protocols and complying with local, state, and federal regulations (OSHA/EPA).

• 21 years of age or older
• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• Clean driving record; ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification
• No DUI/DWI within the last 3 years

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area
• Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or Project Management (PMP) or related certifications
• Third-party management experience

• Conduct grounds maintenance in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas
• Operate specialized equipment and vehicles to complete tasks
• Collaborate with team to manage landscaping and exterior maintenance
• Follow safety, security, and regulatory requirements; ensure compliance with company policies
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations
• Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades
