Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Haven that are seeking Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and other electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery and production equipment using various testing devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to execute repairs and installations accurately.
• Adhere strictly to all electrical safety codes, regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Calibrate and test electrical components and systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with specifications.
• Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting, programming, and modifying automated systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Extensive experience with motor controls, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial sensors.
• Strong understanding and application of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Proven diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Familiarity with robotics and automated systems.
• Cross-functional experience with instrumentation or mechanical systems.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
