As a Journeyman Electrician, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining our complex electrical systems, ensuring peak performance and reliability. You'll engage in a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance to critical emergency repairs, ensuring our industrial equipment operates flawlessly. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks on industrial electrical systems and components, including motor control centers (MCCs) and distribution panels.
• Perform electrical repairs on a wide range of production machinery, such as automated systems, conveyor belts, and specialized processing equipment.
• Work proficiently with electrical systems up to 480 volts, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
• Lay out, assemble, and install electrical control components and wiring according to schematics.
• Provide general electrical support for plant operations, including modifications and upgrades.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance checks to identify and address potential electrical issues before they escalate.
• Obtain and utilize various lift equipment licenses (forklift, articulating boom lift, scissor lift) as required for job duties.
• Actively participate in safety initiatives, upholding stringent Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and other safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician license or certificate, or a minimum of six years of equivalent practical experience in an industrial setting.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with industrial electrical controls and power distribution.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and a clear understanding of electrical safety regulations.
• Ability to provide personal hand tools required for the role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology or a related field.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and HMI interfaces for troubleshooting.
• Proven track record of successful electrical installations and system upgrades.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Experience in facilities with demanding operational environments.
