Salary Range: $39,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and machinery.
  • Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor welding equipment issues or production problems.
Recommended Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
  • Current AWS D1.1 certification or equivalent.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Demonstrated understanding of welding safety protocols and quality control standards.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with advanced blueprint interpretation or CAD software.
  • Certification or experience operating forklifts or overhead cranes.
  • Proficiency in basic fabrication techniques (cutting, grinding, fitting).
  • Experience with robotic welding or automated systems.
