Assembly Technician

Are you a self-starter? Eager to learn? Team player? If so, we want to hear from you! Light Corp is seeking an immediate full-time Assembly Technician CHAMPION to process components, sub-assemblies, or finish assemblies at an efficient rate, defect-free, and on time to meet customer demand.

10pm – 6:30 am

• Basic reading, math, and computer skills
• Prior shop/assembly experience a plus
• Perform daily duties in a safe, ergonomic manner
• Follow quality standards to produce defect-free products
• Perform tasks efficiently to meet or exceed established rates/requirements
• Adherence to the Attendance Policy, including scheduled overtime

• Team player with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to push, pull, carry, kneel, and reach in a safe manner
• Reading and following work instructions, bill of materials (BOM), wiring diagram, schematics, and blueprints as required for processes within their responsibilities
• Performing efficient setup/changeover of workstations, machines, and/or equipment organized
• Understanding how to complete and document all required quality checks
• Accuracy and timely completion of all required electronic transactions
• Presenting functional, clean, and well-packaged products to both internal and external customers
• Adhering to the Light Corp Code of Conduct
• Supporting and actively participating in continuous improvement activities (LCMS)
• Completing miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by their supervisor.
