Key Responsibilities- Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and COGS to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual operating budgets and rolling financial forecasts.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, performance dashboards, and key metric analyses for management.
- Conduct thorough variance analysis of actual results against budget and prior periods, explaining deviations.
- Support capital expenditure planning and evaluate the financial viability and ROI of new projects.
- Monitor and analyze inventory valuation, turns, and potential obsolescence.
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to provide financial insights and drive efficiency improvements.
- Develop financial models for scenario planning, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
- Proven experience with cost accounting principles and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial reporting and data extraction.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Ability to analyze operational data and provide actionable insights to improve manufacturing efficiency and profitability.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and variance analysis.
- Familiarity with supply chain finance and inventory management.
- Experience analyzing capital expenditures for manufacturing assets.
- Knowledge of operational efficiency metrics and their financial implications.
