Process Engineer - Grand Haven Area

Salary Range: $72,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

• Optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment from pilot to full-scale production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations, production issues, and quality defects, implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor process performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to ensure seamless process integration and support new product introductions.
• Ensure all processes comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality management systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in process optimization, statistical process control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with process simulation software, CAD tools, and data analysis platforms.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, safety protocols, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO).

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, R, Python)
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or SCADA
• Familiarity with automation and control systems (e.g., PLCs, DCS)
