Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable, ensuring timely payment to suppliers for raw materials and operational expenses.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers for manufactured goods and services, and monitoring collections.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Process payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and submitting related tax filings.
- Maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries, and ensuring accurate classification of transactions.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures and prepare basic financial reports.
- Track inventory‑related transactions and assist in reconciling raw material and finished goods inventory.
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank and account reconciliations with meticulous attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
- Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Net Suite, Dynamics 365)
- Understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with payroll processing for an hourly/production workforce
