• 90% travel within your assigned area.
• Home location can be any of our shops nearest to your home.
• Hotel accommodations while traveling to other sites in the area.
• 1‑week assignments can be up to 4 weeks at a site.
• Assignments are based on work zones nearest to home site, but could vary.
• The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at any of our Upper Midwest locations.

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform your work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assist senior mechanics in the completion of project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

• Require regular lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing.
• Constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasionally sitting and balancing.
• Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals.
• Exposure to environmental elements including dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
• Jobs performed both inside garage/shop and in outdoor, inclement weather conditions.
