. This role is located in Grand Forks, ND.

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles to ensure the safety of employees and communities.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
• Assist senior mechanics in completing project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA standards and follow established safety procedures.

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to physical occupational risks (cuts, burns, chemicals) often
• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements often
• Work occurs in inside garages, shops or gas plants and in outside conditions with inclement weather, heat and humidity

The normal setting is a repair/maintenance shop at our Grand Forks, ND hauling site. Work schedule options include:

• Sunday – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday
• 5:00 pm – 2:00 am or 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
• 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm or 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm

• Starting salary of $24.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience
