Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service

OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet and navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents such as Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
- Proficiency in using personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems.
- Local food handlers permit may be required.
- English language proficiency; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
The associate will be regularly required to stand and walk during the shift; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms (including tasks overhead up to 65 inches); talk and hear; read instructions and perform events; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds);
push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical AppearanceMust maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming; dress code requirements are provided in training documents.
