Travel Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist – $3,319 per week – 1034039
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Job OverviewEstimated pay package based on bill rate at time the job was posted. Bill rates can change frequently and without notice. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers.
Responsibilities- Performs general or vascular ultrasound exams.
- Assures that a written physician order is received prior to an exam procedure and collects pertinent information prior to the ultrasound procedure.
- Reviews exams on Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), checking for quality and completeness.
- Completes proper paperwork and distributes exams for interpretation.
- Efficiently performs all tasks within their designated room, including cleaning and stocking their room, cleaning the machine and filter, and deleting exams off the machine daily.
- Demonstrates regard for patients’ safety and comfort during transportation, immobilization and positioning of patient.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
- Must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- Certification:
Sonographer | North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners. - Certification:
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) | American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). - Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA). - Demonstrates understanding and follows infection control policies and procedures according to standard operating procedure.
- Maintains requirements for age‑specific competencies for the position and demonstrates the knowledge or principles of growth and development and the skills necessary to provide patient/customer care/services.
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all pertinent safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Works safely, without causing harm or risk to self, others or property.
- Uses all safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Reports unsafe practices, procedures, accidents, injuries or other safety violations to the Leader.
