Endocrinologist (MD/DO)
Must be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota, depending on the location of the practice to which you are assigned
Position SummaryThe Endocr पूछटर provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of disorders of the endocrine system. This role focuses on hormonal and metabolic conditions through evidence-based medical care, patient education, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize long-term patient outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and lipid abnormalities
- Diagnose and treat complex hormonal imbalances and metabolic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide outpatient endocrinology care and inpatient consultation services as needed
- Interpret and manage endocrine-related diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists such as cardiology, nephrology, oncology, surgery, and obstetrics as appropriate
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and lifestyle management
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, diabetes educators, and trainees as applicable
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement, population health, and patient safety initiatives
- Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) terkenal Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited internal medicine or pediatrics residency program
- Completion of an accredited endocrinology fellowship program
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state cuyo medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Expertise in endocrineengr and metabolic disease management
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities
- Ability to manage complex, chronic conditions over time
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Outpatient endocrinology clinics with possible inpatient consult responsibilities
- Call coverage as determined by practice or service needs
- Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout clinic and hospital environments
- Manual dexterity for examinations and office-based procedures
- Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient assessmentields
Must maintain state certification and/or licensure.
