Construction Project Manager

Community Contractors, Inc. is a General Contractor/Construction Manager located in Grand Forks, ND. We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager. The ideal candidate should excel in leadership, risk management, and planning. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the project meets the client’s quality, budget, and completion expectations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Owning the assigned project(s) from design through closeout.
• Anticipating and resolving potential issues in project plans.
• Calculating total project quantities of time and materials.
• Coordinating with the project superintendent regarding workforce requirements.
• Participating in the bidding process, providing accurate estimates for materials and labor.
• Sharing expertise and recommendations based on experience.
• Supervising the project site superintendent.
• Tracking change orders and project costs, and communicating these to owners and accounting.
• Managing the project budget.
• Managing RFI, ASI, Submittal, and Change Order logs.
• Coordinating with owners, the design team, and the project superintendent.
• Visiting job sites regularly.
• Assisting in resolving billing issues and conflicts.

Experience required:

• A 4-year degree in Construction Management or at least 5 years of proven project management experience from pursuit to closeout.
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and experience with software such as Procore, Primavera P6, CAD, PDF Readers, BIM 360, Bluebeam, etc.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay depends on experience.
