• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicates with team members; and being flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert:
  Demonstrates knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; preparing (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) meat products according to established standards; cutting boneless meat products; and maintaining product quality standards.
• Be a Techie:
  Uses digital tools to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner:
  Maintains operational excellence, keeps work area clean and organized; ensures quality and date control standards for meat products; secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminates waste; assists members with purchasing decisions; ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policies.

  Advocates for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; demonstrates energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics by applying related action plans and Open Door Policy.
• Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; communicates progress and information; identifies priorities and deadlines; and adapts to change, difficulties, and feedback.
