RN Registered Nurse | Nurse Resident - CVC - FT Days

Full-time, Days shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm) Monday through Friday and every third weekend. 72‑hour pay period.

• Use clinical judgment and the nursing process to deliver independent and interdependent nursing services.
• Coordinate patient care using the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care, ensuring appropriate resource utilization and quality outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education, pain management, and support throughout the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute discharge plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, assess risk factors (falls, skin breakdown, VTE), and manage interventions per clinical guidelines.
• Document nursing interventions (NIC), outcomes (NOC), and education in the electronic health record.
• Administer therapeutic regimens, including medication reconciliation and IV therapy.
• Manage acute patient conditions, initiate CPR, and communicate changes using SBAR.
• Maintain patient safety, including restraints and universal precautions.
• Support ongoing quality improvement and participate in teaching/mentoring of student nurses.
• Support unit and department goals, including leadership and communication with staff and management.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed by the Michigan Board of Nursing, obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS provider, credentialed within 90 days of hire, or BLS instructor.
• Graduate of an approved RN nursing program.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and stand continuously.
• Commitment to professional development and patient safety.

• Licensed RN credential from Michigan Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire or BLS instructor certification.
• No additional preferences.
