RN – Registered Nurse – 3 South Telemetry – Full Time Days Monday‑Friday & Every 3rd Weekend

Schedule: 7:00 am–7:30 pm, Monday‑Friday and every 3rd weekend; 72 hours per pay period.

Location: Grand Blanc, Michigan

Department: 3 South Telemetry, Henry Ford Health Genesys.

• Use professional judgment and nursing process to provide independent, interdependent, and delegated nursing services.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans following core outcome and intervention sets.
• Deliver patient education, pain management, and discharge planning, ensuring patient rights, dignity, and cultural preferences.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per NIC/NOC guidelines each shift.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and procedures such as catheterization, NG tubes, suctioning, and blood specimen collection.
• Monitor vital signs, laboratory values, I/O, blood glucose, and respond to changes in respiratory, neurologic, cardiac, and urinary status.
• Implement fall, skin‑breakdown, VTE, and aspiration preventive measures; maintain SBAR communication for patient status changes.
• Perform emergency interventions, including CPR, and maintain emergency equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and community agencies to prepare safe discharge plans.
• Participate in unit quality improvement, mentorship, and education activities.
• Adhere to patient confidentiality, safety policies, and cost‑effective resource use.

• Active RN license in Michigan, obtained within 60 days of hire.
• BLS certification (AHA) or BLS instructor credential, obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Graduated from an accredited RN program.
