Henry Ford Genesys Heart Center in Grand Blanc (formerly Ascension Medical Group) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its busy and growing Cardiology practice. The role includes inpatient rounding in collaboration with Cardiology physicians, outpatient responsibilities such as clinic days, patient monitoring, and administrative tasks as needed. The position offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient care within a supportive, team‑oriented environment and an excellent opportunity to be part of a well‑established, high‑volume cardiology program.

Full Time, 40 hours per week. Monday – Friday. 10‑hour days (APPs work 4, 10‑hour days, per week)

• Nurse Practitioner:
  Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
• Physician Assistant:
  Completion of a Physician Assistant training program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC‑PA)
• Nurse Practitioner:
  Certification by a certification body recognized by the State of Michigan
• Physician Assistant:
  Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Michigan, or in process of applying (must have proof of application)
• National certification as an NP or PA (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• DEA/CSL, required through credentialing
• NPs do not have controlled substance licenses; PAs must obtain DEA/CSL

• Cardiology experience, preferred
• Inpatient and Outpatient experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous professional development
