Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000/year (dependent on education and years of experience).
Shift Type: Days.
Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Hours/Day:
- Shift Notes: Monday - Friday (8AM - 5PM).
- Weekend Requirements: None.
- On Call Requirements: None.
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - In-state employees in office once a week; out-of-state employees in office twice a year for 3 days at a time.
Remote Eligibility: Employees can only be hired remotely from the following states: AL, AZ, AR, GA, IL, IN, KY, KS, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, WI, WV.
Position SummaryThe Sr. Net Revenue Analyst is responsible for compiling complex reimbursement data to support management decision-making and internal and external reporting for assigned subsidiaries. Assists in coordination of reimbursement functions related to the strategic financial planning process. Responsible for the integrity of net revenue.
This is not a revenue cycle position.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and/or review schedules required to support submission of Medicare, Medicaid, and Blue Cross cost reports, complying with regulations. Analyze third-party cost report changes from prior years, investigating differences.
- Prepare monthly contractual model and provide thorough analysis of monthly contractual allowances for assigned subsidiaries. Investigate and make recommendations for updates to assumptions and/or methodology.
- Maintain adequate reserve position by completing monthly reserve analysis, identifying and reporting any increase or decrease from previously stated reserve position.
- Provide complex projections and analytical support during fiscal year budgeted net revenue preparation.
- Research and stay abreast of third-party regulations and changes, providing analytical support through financial impact summarization. Estimate the financial impact any changes in payment assumptions and/or budget assumptions may have on the subsidiary and communicate as directed.
- Coordinate the collection of data and/or preparation of schedules for third-party financial audits, settlements, and cash reconciliations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area - Required.
- Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area - Preferred.
- Three years’ experience in a progressively more responsible reimbursement or finance role with reimbursement responsibilities - Required.
- Net Revenue and/or Cost Reporting experience - Required.
- Home Health and/or Physician Group experience - Preferred.
- Kodiak RCA experience (formerly Crowe) - Preferred.
- MBA or CPA – Preferred.
- Progressive management experience - Preferred.
