Social Worker in Grand Blanc, MI

A K-12 school in Grand Blanc, MI is seeking experienced Social Workers to support their student population through a contract position lasting the  school year. This role focuses on delivering critical social work services to Special Education students in both group and individual settings, ranging across elementary, middle, and high school levels.

• Provide intervention support to Special Education students in small groups or 1:1 settings.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 35-45 students spanning grade levels K-12.
• Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement student support plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations.

• Masters degree in Social Work required.
• Full Approval or Social Worker Certificate through the Michigan Department of Education OR the SSW 310 credential letter with application process started.
• Valid Michigan State Social Worker license through LARA.
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
• Ability to work onsite preferred; virtual candidates considered if residing in Michigan.
• Completion of a 9-panel drug screen and in-state fingerprinting required for all candidates.

Grand Blanc, Michigan (onsite preferred; virtual candidates must reside in Michigan).

This is a contractual, 35-hour per week position starting as soon as possible through June 12, 2026. Candidates should indicate any grade-level preference (Elementary, Middle, or High School).
