A challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Senior Production Planner. The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, self-motivated individual responsible for developing the production schedule and assisting the operations team in schedule execution. Core Responsibilities- Utilizes ERP to develop and communicate the production schedule, ensuring accuracy in the ERP system and cell communication boards.
- Assures internal and external customer requirements are met in accordance with the Production Schedule.
- Tracks progress of jobs from launch through completion and supports operations with expediting as required.
- Assists production supervision with level loading work center schedules, maintaining throughput objectives and balancing the line.
- Maintains Line‑of‑Balance tracking for critical programs.
- Tracks performance to monthly forecast including risks and opportunities.
- Liaison between operations and customer service, ensuring accurate delivery dates and timely notification of delays.
- Analyzes component consumption rates and maintains system parameters & safety stock accordingly.
- Works closely with Purchasing to ensure vendor delivery date aligns with the needs of the business.
- Ensures incoming orders, shipments, material transactions and other logistics activities are performed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Aerospace industry.
- ERP / MRP experience required;
Syteline 9 experience preferred. - Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with Power BI a plus.
- Ability to prioritize workload as conflicts arise and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Balance customer needs while protecting the interests of the company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working in a constantly changing environment; adaptability & flexibility are critical.
- Candidate must work well in both a team environment and across various departmental functions.
- BS Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- ERP / MRP Experience required;
Syteline 9 experience preferred. - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- Power BI a plus.
