The client is a technology company specializing in autonomous robotics and intelligent automation solutions for retail and commercial environments. Their products integrate advanced computer vision, artificial intelligence, and robotics platforms to enable real-time monitoring, data collection, and operational optimization in physical spaces. The company develops end-to-end robotics systems, combining hardware, embedded software, AI algorithms, and cloud-based analytics. Their solutions are focused on improving efficiency, visibility, and decision-making through automation and advanced imaging technologies.

As a Senior AI / Computer Vision Engineer (Robotics, ROS), you will develop expertise in imaging science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and ROS (Robot Operating System). You will participate in full product development through production. You will be expected to demonstrate a level of expertise in specific areas that matches or exceeds the expertise of our customers. You will consult on system architectures and assess technical requirements and competencies needed to produce a high-quality product.

• Represent the client Technologies AI / Computer Vision / ROS group in technical discussions and meetings.

• Stay abreast of the latest technologies to provide competitive and cost-effective designs.

• Raisethe perception ofthe client ’s acumen in the industry by authoring or presenting white papers.

• Lead the development of platform and product architectures in collaboration with technical staff.

• Perform independent research and engineering studies.

• Effectively consult on multiple projects in parallel.

• Develop state-of-the-art algorithms in the field of AI / Computer Vision / ROS.

• Translate existing imaging algorithms tothe client ’s Robotics platform.

• Develop tools for implementing and using AI / ML / ROS designs.

• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in AI / Computer Vision and Robotics software development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

• Strong hands-on experience in AI and Computer Vision algorithm development.

• Proven experience implementing and optimizing computer vision solutions in robotics platforms.

• Solid experience working with ROS (Robot Operating System) in production environments.

• Experience designing system or platform architectures in AI / Robotics domains.

• Ability to analyze algorithms for performance trade-offs (accuracy, latency, compute, memory).

• Strong knowledge of Computational 3D Geometry.

• Experience working with robotics or mobile imaging acquisition platforms.

• Proficiency in C++ and Python (production-level development).

• Experience working with Linux, including real-time environments.

• Familiarity with modern code development frameworks.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
