Medical Surgical RN

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are from 06:45 to 19:15, working 3 days a week with every other weekend required. No call is necessary, and floating to other Medical Surgical units will be expected.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a Medical Surgical unit.
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, with a preference for travel experience.
• Must have medical surgical experience.
• Titers must be available at the time of submission.
