REQUIREMENTS- RN LICENSURE
- BLS, ACLS (AHA OR ARC)
- 2 YEARS' EXPERIENCE
- Scope of role:
Labor, Deliver, Recovery, Postpartum, and newborn - Patient Ratio: 1:3, 1:4; 1-2 labor until active labor

RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions during labor and delivery.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.
- Evaluate and improve nursing practices based on patient outcomes.
- Utilize data to track patient outcomes and improve service delivery.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
- Manage time effectively to meet the demands of a night shift.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
- Experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced night shift environment.
- Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions.
- Proficiency in documenting patient care accurately and timely.
- Strong time management skills to meet night shift demands.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.
- Ability to analyze patient data to improve service delivery.
- Willingness to mentor and train new nursing staff.
