The Shipping Clerk will manage and process all incoming and outgoing shipments as per the company procedures.

• 2+ years shipping experience
• Good computer skills
• Experience with proper packing and shipping parts by motor freight, UPS and Fed Ex
• Ability to fill out Bill of Lading
• Ability to get proper counts
• Self‑starter and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work with other team members
• Ability to multitask
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to drive forklift and load and unload trucks
• Ability to lift heavy objects at times up to 75 lbs
• Ability to use internet and email
• Background with inventory control

• Pack parts for shipment to customers or subcontractors
• Determine the best packing method to prevent damage of products in transit
• Maintain records for receiving and shipping products
• Determine method of shipment based on customer and shipping requirements
• Generate and apply shipping labels and packing slips
• Forward shipping paperwork to different departments
• Schedule trucks for shipments
• Maintain inventory of parts and shipping materials and supplies
• Lift heavy objects at times up to 75 lbs
• Load and unload freight with forklift
