** Position Opportunity**### We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Associate to join our on-site finance team in Burlington, NC. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a sharp eye for accuracy, and a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes. There is room for growth within the accounting and finance function for the right candidate.###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and accounts receivable transactions
* Assist with monthly bank reconciliations
* Draft correspondence for past-due accounts and collections
* Review customer accounts to identify delinquencies and follow up to request payment
* Research and resolve customer discrepancies and past-due balances
* Resolve billing issues by contacting customers, reviewing invoices, and verifying payment processing
* Generate reports on customer account status as requested
* Maintain and update customer account files (address changes, name changes, mergers, etc.)
* Meet daily and monthly collection targets
* Perform other related duties as assigned## Qualifications
** Qualifications (Required)
*** Associate’s degree (A.S.) or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
* 1–3 years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience
* Strong math and analytical skills
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong organizational and time-management skills
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
