• Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Handle various tenders including Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers, following company policies.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and control loss effectively.
• Follow guidelines on restricted sale items such as Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs.
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay updated on current promotions and ads.
• Comply with food safety and safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and maintain equipment.
• Create a welcoming environment, answer product questions, and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business information.
• Assist diverse customer groups, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Customer service experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

• Previous customer service roles.
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk.
