Training Delivery Instructor – Mechanical Engineering   Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week on a term time only basis   HMS Sultan, Portsmouth   Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

* Job Description:

**** What you’ll be doing
*** Delivering training to groups of trainees in Mechanical Engineering – both practical and theory based.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with trainees and colleagues.
* Support course documentation updates and provide feedback on student assessments.
* Apply best practices to improve training quality and effectiveness.
* Monitor learner progress and ensure training meets performance targets and standards.
* Collaborate with Learning & Development to personalise training and maintain professional development
** What we’re looking for
**** Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
*** Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
* Proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace.
* Competent Mechanical hand skills.
** Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
*** Previous experience working in Marine Engineering
* Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DTC Defence Trainer Course or equivalent.
* Previous training experience in an engineering environment

** This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
