Location:
Gosport Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
We are looking for a marketing manager to join a well established business based in Gosport, The position of a Marketing Manager would suit a focused, driven, and hands-on marketing professional who is comfortable being the first in-house marketing hire and building marketing strategy, processes, and delivery from the ground up. The successful candidate will be confident working closely with stakeholders at all levels, from junior staff to Directors, and will bring strong digital marketing expertise with a proven ability to deliver impactful campaigns.
This role is based in Gosport.
Key Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and against agreed KPIsBuild, manage, and protect brand awareness, including brand guidelines, marketing collateral, and digital content across websites, social media, and other channels
Plan, organise, and represent the business at exhibitions, networking events, brand launches, and awards
Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and trend monitoring to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge Manage the marketing budget and ensure compliance with GDPR, copyright, and relevant regulatory requirements
Collaborate with internal teams across the business, advising on marketing strategies for new projects and supporting wider business initiatives as required
Requirements of a Marketing Manager Proven experience across a broad range of marketing disciplines
Strong digital marketing background with demonstrable results
Experience developing and executing marketing strategies end-to-end Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercially minded with a clear understanding of brand positioning
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
Experience with in marine, engineering, or industrial sectors would be advantageous
This role is located in Gosport, you must be able to travel to site
