We are looking for caring and compassionate Healthcare Support Workers to join our multi‑disciplinary team at Gosport War Memorial Hospital on our Older Persons Mental Health (OPMH) wards.

Main duties of the job

The Healthcare Support Worker in Inpatient Services is a core member of the ward team and will provide physical and psychological care to patients in accordance with the specified plan of care and as directed by a registered nurse or other qualified practitioner.

The Healthcare Support Worker will work to provide person centred and safe care to all patients and accurately record and report patient information to the Registered Nurse in a timely way and in line with agreed procedures.
