Compliance Contract Lead Electrical, Fire and Lift Services Building Maintenance

Location:

Gosport, PO12 1EB

Start Date:

ASAP

Contract Duration: 3+ Months

Working Hours:

Mon - Fri (08:00 to 16:00)

Pay Rate: £450.00 per day

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage compliance contracts covering electrical, fire safety and lift services.
  • Ensure all statutory inspections, testing and remedial works are completed on time.
  • Monitor contractor performance and service delivery against agreed standards.
  • Review risk assessments, certification and compliance documentation.
  • Provide technical advice to internal stakeholders on building compliance matters.
  • Manage budgets, variations and contract documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation and Council policies.
  • Prepare performance reports and attend review meetings.
Person Specification Must-Have Requirements
  • Proven experience managing compliance contracts within building services or maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, fire safety and lift regulations.
  • Experience overseeing statutory compliance and contractor performance.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
  • Experience working within a local authority or public sector environment.
  • Relevant technical qualification in building services or a related field.
  • Knowledge of housing or corporate property compliance frameworks.
