Overview

Electrical Engineer — Certain Advantage is hiring for an Electrical Engineer based in the Portsmouth area. This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.

Hello, this role is for an Electrical Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

• Specification from product requirements
• Interfaces of electrical systems
• System diagrams & circuit diagrams
• Electrical Design CAD/CAM, test, and validation

We re looking for people who can show:

• Education to at least Degree Level or equivalent in a recognised engineering discipline as recognised by the IET, preferably hold a chartered engineering status.
• Electronics and Electromagnetics background
• Systems engineering background
• Military standards in the maritime domain relating to electronics or EMC or military satellite communication systems exposure would be highly desirable

• Hourly rate circa £45h
• Training and Development
