Working Hours:

Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00

Pay Rate: £ 31.30 Per Hour

• Conduct detailed building surveys and inspections across council properties.
• Prepare accurate reports, including recommendations for maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
• Provide expert advice on building regulations, compliance, and health and safety standards.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, coordinating contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, up to date, and complies with council policies.
• Support strategic planning for building maintenance and refurbishment programmes.

• Proven experience as a building surveyor or in a similar surveying/engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent report writing, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• UK eligibility to work, with verified documentation.

• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS).
• Experience in local government or public sector building projects.
• Knowledge of sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
