Vending Machine Technician

This is a full-time role for a Vending Service Technician located in Goshen, IN. The Vending Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting vending machines and equipment. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, servicing equipment in the field, and responding to service calls in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.

• Install, configure, and test vending machines at client locations
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
• Replace defective components such as coin mechanisms, bill validators, motors, control boards, and refrigeration units
• Load software updates and configure cashless payment systems
• Maintain accurate service logs and complete work orders in a timely manner
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency repair requests

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively
• Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments
• Customer Service skills to ensure positive interactions and address client concerns professionally
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for service assignments
• High school diploma or equivalent is required, with technical certifications or experience in related fields considered a strong asset

• Experience with cashless payment systems
• Basic computer skills for diagnostics and reporting
• 1–3 years of experience in vending equipment, appliance repair, HVAC, or related mechanical/electrical field
• Field-based position with local travel required
• May involve lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
