Assistant Manager - Full Time
Join Shoe Sensation, Inc. as an Assistant Manager. We are looking for someone who loves talking to people, has experience in sales, managing people, loves shoes, and is ready to earn a solid income while contributing to our community-friendly retail environment.
What you will do- Greet customers and guide them through their shopping experience.
- Sell shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers.
- Ring up sales, process cash, credit cards, and discounts.
- Assist in restocking the sales floor.
- Maintain a neat and clean store environment.
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, and training the sales team.
- Help coach and discipline the sales team.
- Lead the team to ensure the best customer sales experience.
- Prepare deposits and make deposits at the bank.
- Process freight and set the sales floor as items arrive.

- Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and have personal transportation to take deposits to the bank.
- Desire to teach others how to sell and learn people‑management skills.
- Willing to open/close the store, understanding you may be alone in the store at times.
- Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop, and lift 25–50 pounds.
