Description

A Clubhouse is a program designed to build community and provide support for our members; adults living with mental illness. Generalist staff work side-by-side with members to help them make progress towards recovery; providing access to opportunities to allow them to rejoin the worlds of friendship, employment, and education. Staff also collaborate to help members access services and support including: housing, entitlements, healthcare, and legal supports, among others.

Clubhouse member and staff relationships are different than typical relationships in social work. Instead of professional/client boundaries, Clubhouse relationships are formed through working together toward common goals. Clubhouse work is shaped by the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs. Please take time to review those Standards at (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)./
