About The Internship ProgramOur summer internship program is designed to give you real responsibility, real projects, and real impact — not just shadowing.
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you’ll work directly with our Operations and Engineering teams to improve production processes, optimize equipment, and increase efficiency across our plant. You’ll apply engineering principles to hands‑on manufacturing challenges and see your solutions come to life on the floor.

You’ll contribute to meaningful operational improvements, including:
- Assist in designing and improving safe, efficient manufacturing processes and production flow
- Support assembly methods, tooling improvements, and equipment optimization
- Conduct time studies and work measurement analysis to improve productivity
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support maintenance planning and equipment reliability efforts
- Research, source, and justify tooling, machinery, and equipment purchases
- Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for process and equipment investments
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Assist in developing quality control plans and standardized work
- Collect, analyze, and present production data to identify improvement opportunities
- Present a final improvement project and key learnings to leadership
- Rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
- Interest in manufacturing operations, process improvement, and lean principles
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Hands‑on, practical mindset with a desire to work on the plant floor
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, changing environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Self‑starter eager to learn and contribute
