Seeking an entry level accounts payable clerk, this position has an opportunity for advancement within the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage “Equipment A/P” inbox. This task includes printing invoices, matching packing slips, sending out invoices for approval/coding, sorting to send out to area offices or other team members for processing, handling problems from vendors on payments, dealing with other a/p related problems and e-mails, and balancing all equipment related statements. Assist in coding & entering invoices for R&M, shops, plants, and rentals.
- Document management functions, including scanning and filing.
- Cross train with other equipment office functions.
- Manage on road vehicle license plate renewals on an annual basis.
- Additional duties/responsibilities as defined by the equipment office manager and / or equipment manager.
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent work experience
- Good organizational skills
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, multi-tasker with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy is critical in this position.
