- Have you got experience of supporting people with learning disabilities?
- Could you support a person to meet their personal outcomes, health, wellbeing and personal care needs?
- Can you manage difficult and challenging situations, in a caring and sensitive way?
- Are you a person that can offer respectful and dignified support, to meet peoples' rights, choices and preferences?
- Can you support people to be part of the community and promote independence?
- Are you a people person, that is resilient, motivated, enthusiastic, kind, caring, friendly and thoughtful?
- Are you a good communicator and are you able to listen to others and relay and document information accurately?
- Are you able to maintain links with relatives, carers and other professionals?
- Do you hold a relevant qualification in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this qualification? NVQ/QCF Level 2?
- Can you work well under the direction of the service Manager?
- Can you work well within a team and on your own?

An Exciting Opportunity has arisen to work within the Social Development Service (Gorseinon & Toronto day services)
- We are looking for
* Day Support Worker 35 hours per week. - The service offers day opportunities for people with learning disabilities that require intensive interaction and positive behaviour support.
- The team support people to maintain their independence & skills, whilst promoting good health & wellbeing.

- You will be part of a well-established team.
- You will be supported to do the right training, with the right support and gain the relevant understanding knowledge and skills for the role.
- You will receive a thorough & paid induction that includes working alongside others within the team who will help you learn about the role.
- You will receive regular supervision and guidance to help you along the way, offering you support and encouragement in your new role.
- Other benefits include the Excellent rate of pay, as well as an Excellent annual leave entitlement.
- You will work 5 days per week, during weekdays.
