Carpenter Technician

Great Falls Construction is seeking experienced Carpenter Technicians to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll construct, install, and repair wood and wood-related structures for both commercial and residential projects, contributing to all phases of construction-from framing to finish work. What You'll Do

* Follow all safety rules, regulations, and the company safety program

* Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and plans to determine project layout, dimensions, and materials

* Perform carpentry tasks across all phases of construction:

* Framing: build structural frameworks, walls, and subfloors

* Rough carpentry: install rough door/window frames, temporary supports, and structural components

* Finish work: install flooring, trim, cabinets, fixtures, doors, windows, and hardware

* Measure, cut, and shape materials using appropriate tools

* Verify accuracy and levelness of structures

* Erect scaffolding or ladders for elevated work

* Anchor, brace, and assemble frameworks using nails, bolts, rods, cables, and other materials

* Repair or replace damaged structures or components

* Communicate and collaborate professionally with supervisors, subcontractors, and crew members

* Maintain a clean and organized worksite

* Perform additional duties as needed to support business needs

What You'll Need to Succeed

* High school diploma or equivalent

* A strong drive for action and results; comfort working in a fast-paced, focused environment

* Working knowledge of basic math (arithmetic, algebra, geometry)

* Ability to lift 50 lbs individually and up to 100 lbs with assistance

* Access to personal hand tools

* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
