Overview
We are currently looking for the right Retail Store Manager to join our Team!
$17.00 to $22.40 per hour
In addition to the hourly rate our Retail Store Managers can earn a very lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of a Retail Store Manager's total yearly income.

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). A Store Manager is accountable for day-to-day store operations and promoting a positive/productive environment. They lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, and maximize financial goals while managing Customer Relations / Customer Satisfaction. The Store Manager sets the tone for a customer-centric environment and analyzes the store's financial statements to ensure goals are met and adjust as necessary.
The Store Manager commits to the company’s asset protection program through inventory control, policies, procedures, and securing customer loans. They promote the business using internal and external marketing tools and work to acquire new customers. All employees may work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. Actual pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience. This position reports to the area’s District Manager.
Responsibilities of a Store ManagerThis is a representative list of general duties and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
- Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
- Open and close the store, including cash and merchandise counts, and protect assets accordingly.
- Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
- Administer processes for inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise-level reporting.
- Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans issued.
- Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
- Communicate clearly with employees to align with the store’s mission and profit objectives.
- Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
