OverviewHII’s Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) is the largest industrial employer in Virginia and the sole designer and builder of U.S. Navy nuclear aircraft carriers. The Trainer Production 4 role supports the development and delivery of training materials on company products, processes, and technologies to ensure team members grow their technical and process knowledge.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training materials on company products, processes, and technologies.
- Provide orientation and training on new course materials.
- Select appropriate training aids.
- Prepare lesson plans relevant to training material.
- Monitor training personnel records to ensure compliance with company and regulatory training requirements.
- Analyze course evaluations to judge effectiveness of training sessions and implement improvements.
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 7 years additional education and/or related experience; or Apprentice graduate/Associate’s Degree in a relevant discipline plus 5 years related experience.
- Certification may be required.
