About the Role
Scent & Care creates and sells fragrances, cosmetic ingredients, aroma molecules and mint aromas. Manufacturers use it to produce perfumes, personal care and cosmetic products, cleaning products and detergents, home fragrances and oral care products.
Position SummaryTo provide support for the plant's maintenance department, as I&E specialist, by applying knowledge and skills related to industrial electrical equipment and instrumentation during the execution of daily work orders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide superior performance in the area of industrial safety.
- Support plant maintenance and manufacturing cost objectives and cost reduction efforts.
- Maintain / update SAP related equipment, BOM, and inventory records.
- Involvement in shutdown planning and inventory coordination.
- Work with equipment suppliers and the Inventory Specialist to ensure appropriate critical spares are maintained as inventory.
- Identify and affect inventory reduction opportunities.
- Co-champion I&E preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
- Co-champion I&E equipment condition monitoring programs.
- Assist in the implementation of maintenance skills training.
- Involvement with the Management of Change (MOC's) process in support of the maintenance department.
- Establish shared best practices and drive towards continuous improvement in higher technology.
- Maintain strict adherence to inventory control requirements within SAP with complete accuracy.
- Provide support to manufacturing on plant troubleshooting issues as pertaining to rotating and fixed equipment, and safety systems.
- Maintain compliance with maintenance and engineering procedures, guidelines and standards while executing plant work.
- Participate in one or more MSC teams e.g. safety, training, reliability, etc.
- Keep informed of emerging technologies and their application to I&E reliability based maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma / GED or equivalent level of education.
- 2+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Must be a self-starter with initiative and adaptability.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize tasks and think outside the box.
- Excellent problem solving ability and judgment.
- Committing to safety and respect for the environment.
- Certifications, licensures, and/or vocational technical training is a plus.
