Real Estate Attorney
A law firm based in Goose Creek, SC, is expanding its real estate legal team and seeks a licensed attorney to manage and facilitate property transactions. This opportunity, offered through a recruiting partner, is ideal for someone with a strong interest in residential and commercial closings, a client-first mindset, and the drive to develop within a collaborative environment.
Duties:Handle real estate purchase and refinance matters, both residential and commercial
Evaluate and resolve issues related to property title
Collaborate with agents, lenders, brokers, and clients throughout the transaction lifecycle
Draft, edit, and analyze legal documents including sale agreements, lease contracts, deeds, and loan instruments
Guide clients through the transaction process with clarity and professionalism
Review final accounting statements and authorize transaction disbursements
Participate in client outreach and help nurture long-term professional relationships
Lead informational sessions and client education events on real estate-related topics
Requirements:Active membership in the South Carolina Bar in good standing
Experience in residential property closings preferred
Ability to convey legal information to a variety of audiences
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative within a team
Enthusiastic about growing within a real estate-focused practice
Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:Licensed to practice law in the state of South Carolina
Skills:Clear and timely communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
Confident public speaking and interpersonal engagement
Adept at managing multiple transactions simultaneously
