Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist
Location: Goose Creek, SC
Schedule: PRN or part-time (Mon/Wed/Fri)
Compensation: $50.00/hour
Select Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time or PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center. Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required) and at least 1 year of experience.

Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management - High Standard of Care:
Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception) - Personalized Treatment:
Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge - Relationship-Building:
Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Provide occupational therapy services in an outpatient orthopedic setting, including evaluation, planning, treatment, and discharge planning. Collaborate with centers and supervise assistants and aides as appropriate. Ensure up-to-date practice and integration of evidence-based approaches.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)-accredited school of occupational therapy
- One (1) year of experience working in hand therapy
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic
- Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred
