Accounting Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented part-time Accounting Clerk to join our team in Goose Creek, South Carolina. This Contract position offers an opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment within the real estate property and facilities management industry. The ideal candidate will excel in handling both accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks while maintaining exceptional organizational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

- Process incoming payments and manage accounts receivable transactions with accuracy.

- Handle accounts payable tasks, including vendor maintenance and updating supporting spreadsheets.

- Ensure all vendor liability and worker's compensation insurance records are current and compliant.

- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing and processing annual 1099 forms.

- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documentation.

- Prioritize and meet deadlines while managing multiple financial projects.

- Communicate financial data effectively to various stakeholders.

- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients and team members.

- Perform precise data entry to ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Collaborate with team members in a dynamic office environment.

Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Strong data entry capabilities with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

- Strong communication skills to present complex financial data in an understandable manner.

- Customer service experience that shows a commitment to supporting client needs.

- A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative environment.
