General operatives

We are currently looking for general operatives near Goole. DN14.

Working day and flexible for overtime when required within a leading manufacturing site that produces non‑food products at Howden.

Production lines – working hours are Monday‑Thursday 8am‑4:pm Friday 6am‑12noon. Some flexibility will be required due to the needs of the business.

This is an hourly paid role £12.21/hour for day shifts with added overtime rates and shift allowance for any one working shift.

• Working within the production/process teams, on a line or in the warehouse.
• Handling lidding, labelling, packing and boxing products.
• Checking the quality complies with customer specifications.
• Cleaning and tidying your work areas.
• Moving raw and finished stock to the desired locations.
• Operating machinery.
• aring chutes to keep the product flowing and preventing blockages.
• Ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
• Filling hoppers and goods in/out for qualified FLT drivers.
• Any other duties requested by the line leader or management team for the needs of the business.

Due to the product, the site can be dirty and dusty. The role is fast‑paced.
